Tracy Teitelbaum is an Acutonics® Practitioner and Teacher living in Taos, NM. She has more than 28 years experience as a peer counselor and volunteer, counseling children and adults who have experienced sexual abuse and other issues of domestic violence. She studied Sociology and Religion at Western State College in Gunnison, Colorado and Physical Therapy and Sociology at the University of Colorado. In Denver, she worked at The Tattered Cover Book Store in part to be exposed to all the books. With her life partner, visual artist Adam Teitelbaum, Tracy helps create unique and socially relevant artwork that examines issues of poverty, homelessness and the things in life that fracture as well as heal. Working out of her Wisdom Way Sound Sanctuary, Tracy's clinical practice tends to focus on working to enhance the creativity and stability people need while undergoing difficult life transitions.

Tracy has spent her life seeking opportunities to provide healing services to her community. To deepen her understanding of the cultural barriers, and unique health care needs of diverse populations, she has traveled extensively. While living in Argentina she taught English to doctors, accountants, and school children while broadening her knowledge of Spanish. In addition to creating socially relevant art, paracticing Acutonics®, and teaching Acutonics® Levels I – IV, Tracy has conducted creativity classes and seminars to help adults and children to connect with their creative spirit.

The treatments are a comfortable sensory symphony of sound, smell and vibration. Using the tuning forks as wands, Tracy creates an incredible all body vibratory sensation. Somewhat like Acupuncture in the sense that she is using the points on the body as a guide to accessing the vessels, points and meridians of the human being, there are no needles and the tuning forks themselves are placed comfortably on the clothed body, and used above and around the body in a heavenly dance as well. Tuned to the Music of The Spheres, which are the frequencies of the planets, asteroids, and heavenly bodies, as they move through the universe, the tuning forks are powerful tools. Tracy uses rare oils and tinctures, and the ancient sounds of Tibetan singing bowls,bells & handmade gongs in conjuction with the Acutonics® tuning forks when treating her clients. By using her intuition and the entire spectrum of sound, Tracy helps her clients recognize the origins of their pain. She can find and carefully open new and existing creative pathways to accommodate our ever changing realities. She can help ease everyday stress, spiritual, emotional and physical pain and can be a source of comfort and understanding during the release of grief, of creative crisis, and of the stress associated with complex life passages. She is an amazing source of love & relief and continues to learn, expand and explore sound, and its potential for spiritual, physical, creative and general well-being.
